Iceland is completely magical! With only 3 nights in this city I wanted to make the most of my time and so for me, that meant booking tours that would bring me to everywhere on my MUST VISIT list. I did a lot of research and compared doing it on our own vs. tours and tour companies and ended up booking with BusTravel Iceland. They were reasonable priced, had a wide variety of tours to chose from and had great customer service. They also were very accommodating that we were traveling with a toddler and even provided a car seat for every tour and transfer we booked.

These are the top 5 tours that I highly recommend not missing on your trip to Iceland.

1. Blue Lagoon 1The Blue Lagoon spa is one of the most popular attractions in Iceland, its natural geothermal water is rich of minerals, excellent to rejuvenate your body and soul. There are a ton of add on services like spa amenities and in-water massages that you can include or you can just pick up a drink from the swim up bar and relax in the warm water. While you have to purchase your entrance ticket in advance from the Blue Lagoon website, you can book your transfer from BusTravel Iceland to be picked up right outside your hotel.

2. Northern Lights Tour

2

Catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights is a big reason why a lot of people venture out to Iceland but seeing them isn’t guaranteed. A guided Northern Lights tour is a great way to try to see them because your guide has so much experience chasing the lights that they know exactly where to go to maximize your chance of seeing them. They take you out of the hustle and bustle of the city and head into the quiet darkness of the countryside to enjoy the natural spectacle of the aurora borealis.

3. Golden Circle Tour

OZZO

The Grand Golden Circle is a compact tour that takes you to a series of remarkable and diverse sites in the Southwest of Iceland. On this tour you will visit:

-Geysir geothermal area

-Gullfoss waterfall-

Þingvellir National Park

-Kerið volcanic crater

-Faxi waterfall

4. Southern Iceland Tour

4

This tour takes you to various natural pearls along the enchanting south coast of Iceland. The landscape is characterized by strong contrasts, where grown plains meet coarse mountains and fire meets ice. On this tour you will visit:

-Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

-Skógafoss Waterfall

-Sólheimajökull Glacier

-Black Sand Beach

5. Fjords & Into the Glacier

5

This tour will take your breath away at each stop! You get to explore the man-made ice caves dug into Iceland’s second largest glacier, Langjökull. From Husafell, you hop on the special glacier vehicles and dive inside the surreal entrails of the Ice Cap Glacier. There, you will witness the effects of global warming as well as Iceland’s seismic history. On this tour you will visit:

-Deildartunguhver

-Hraunfossar waterfall

-Husafell

-Langjökull glacier

While these may be my top 5 tour recommendations, BusTravel Iceland offers many more tours including premium options that have a max of 15 people per tour which provides a more intimate experience, more flexibility, more free time and more spontaneous encounters than travelling in big groups. They also have special offers which bundles multiple tours to save you money.

This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Dove and DiMe Media. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

Can you believe that we are half way through the month of February already?! While the last few months in general have been very hectic, the last few weeks even more so. I feel like kid parties, baby showers, home errands, work and packing have consumed my life. I’m not complaining, I wouldn’t change a thing about this crazy beautiful life.

While on the go, I want to make sure that I stay fresh all day and that is why I use Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant.

FullSizeR

Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant offers 48 hours of odor and wetness protection, plus its NutriumMoisture formula and ¼ Moisturizers leave your underarms feeling soft and smooth. One of my favorite things about this antiperspirant is that the scents are so clean and not overbearing like others can be.
IMG_0423They can easily be thrown in your purse for when on the go or placed in your carry on when headed out of town. I love that I don’t have to worry about breaking a sweat or even worse… smelling bad! With Dove Advanced Care you can expect more from your deodorant and that makes them FIVE star to me. If I know I have a long day at work and then have to go straight to meeting my girlfriends for dinner, I have no worries because I know Dove Advanced Care has my back and is keeping me fresh.

Valentine's Day

1. Massage – Sending your loved one to a spa OR having the spa come to them, is an excellent gift idea for this Valentine’s Day. Everyone could use a little ME time or extra relaxation. You can also opt to add on a manicure or reflexology service.

2. London Soho Weekender Bag – I personally love gifts like this. When traveling I prefer to have something that I can keep all my makeup, jewelry or tolietries in and not have to go crazy trying to find them. I also love that you can fill the pockets on the inside of this bag with other small gifts, like makeup or beauty items, and give that as 1 large present.

3. IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi – Beauty gifts are great no matter what the occasion. I’m a huge fan of IT Cosmetics and especially love the Je Nais Sais Quoi shades. Two of my favorites are the Vitality Lip Flush & Ombre blush – these will be big hits with the lady in your life that is also a beauty lover.

4. SinfulColors Polishes – SinfulColors is one of my favorite polish brands. They are affordable, have great shades but best of all – they last without chipping. They currently have a great collection out with some fun shades that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. Kissful Thinking & It’s About Valen-time are my favorite shades.

5. Baked by Melissa – If you want to think outside of the box when it comes to your typical Valentine’s Day sweets and chocolate – head over to Baked by Melissa. These are my favorite cupcakes and for Valentine’s Day they have super cute heart themed boxes and limited edition flavors.

6. FTD Long Stem Roses – You can never go wrong with traditional and classic long stem red roses! These beauties are very romantic and you can always upgrade your bouquet to add more roses.

If you follow me actively on my other social channels, specifically Instagram, you know that H&M is my go to spot when shopping. I’m always on the lookout for upcoming collections that launch and I’ve teamed up with them to show you a few of their new denim styles that are available NOW in stores.

Sometimes shopping for denim that properly fits my curvy figure can be a bit frustrating but I absolutely love these two styles. While they couldn’t be more opposite in style, they both fit so great.

I’m a sucker for a great skinny jean. I ended up purchasing these with the length a little longer than normal because I love being able to fold them up to pair with a fabulous bootie. These hugged my curves perfectly and were very comfortable.

Jeans + Boots – H&M

IMG_9678

These are officially my new favorite pair of jeans! Versatility is a big plus when it comes to fashion.  A high cut waist and a more loose fit is a huge trend right now. I was having a hard time finding jeans that were able to fit me in this style because well…. curves lol BUT as soon as I spotted these and tried them on, I was sold. I love that you can pair them with pumps and a blazer for a more chic and classy look or dress them down with flats and a sweatshirt for a more casual and everyday feel.
